2011年3月より通い続ける場所、岩手県陸前高田市。
「どうして陸前高田なんですか?」と聞かれることがあるが、震災がなければ陸前高田を訪れることはなかっただろう。大きな理由はない。ただ、出会いや、つながりなど小さなことが積み重なることで、陸前高田に想いを抱くようになった。
私にはかつてあった街を想像することしかできないが、この先の未来を彼らと共に見ることは可能だ。
願わくは、順当に歩んだであろう人生を図らずも狂わされた、子どもたちが成長し、次の世代に何かを繋ぐまで私は関わり続けたい。

Rikuzentakata is the place where the town was destroyed by the tsunami.
Dead missing people were over 1,700. This is about 8% of the population.
“Why is Rikuzentakata?” Asked by people.
The first time I visited was a photograph request from a weekly magazine.
Before the earthquake, I did not know Rikuzentakata. If it did not have the Great East Japan Earthquake, it would not have visited Rikuzentakata.
There is no big reason, but it is accumulation of encounters and connections.
I can only imagine the city before the earthquake. However, it is possible to see the future in the future with them.
The wish is to change the life by the Great East Japan Earthquake, want to see the children grow up.
And I want to keep involved until they connect something to the next generation.
